@Telegraph @allisonpearson My WhatsApp messages have gone ballistic today with messages from friends with children who received #AlevelResults today, none of them got what was expected, many 1 to 2 grades less. Hopes dashed, dreams shattered. Not a happy day ☹️
#AlevelResults 8.10am shock low results, obviously one of 40% ⬇️ graded by algorithm😭 8.30am, no uni place 😭 1pm email school about using mock exam results @GavinWilliamson 1.30 call uni - neither school or uni know how to process this 😳😲& uni needs to know by Sept 7 @GMB
#AlevelResults Triple lock issue @GavinWilliamson @educationgovuk Member of my family applied to her school and the university to have her mock exam results used for 2 of her subjects, neither the school or the uni know what process is.@BristolUni say they need to know by 7 Sept pic.twitter.com/Mfu7…
@ShabanaRaman @educationgovuk Thank you. Will challenge grades. I have serious concerns, very difficult year for students, aspiration/stretching to achieve their best removed by not being able to take exams. Teachers know what their pupils can attain, what ever moderation took place, it’s a car crash
#AlevelResults in my house grades lower than expected, no uni place. 😭So what now @educationgovuk ? summer revising & take exams in oct + not go to uni this yr. Year out in #COVID19 😳To quote Jane Austen ‘Her situation should secure your compassion. It was badly done, indeed’ pic.twitter.com/3uFr…
